On behalf of all members of IAMAS, IAPSO and IACS, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics for its pivotal role in promoting scientific studies of Earth and coordinating international and interdisciplinary collaboration between the earth sciences.
The Korean IUGG Committee, supported by Korean Meteorological Society, the Korean Society of Oceanography, and the national and local government, wishes to submit an Expression of Interest to host IAMAS-IAPSO-IACS Joint Assembly 2021 in Busan, Republic of Korea.
The MOCA-2021 Joint Assembly is proposed for July 18 to 23, 2021. The 6-day event will attract distinguished colleagues from government, academia and industries from around the globe, who will participate in scientific presentation and discussion, exchanges of information, and international earth science cooperation. Participants at this prestigious global gathering will enjoy an exceptional scientific program with supporting events such as ‘Earth Environment Film Festival’ and ‘Young Scientists Night’.
With such dedicated support and commitment from the government and the local earth science communities, we are confident that the MOCA-2021 Joint Assembly will be a remarkable success and contribute significantly to the acceleration of earth sciences in Asia and the international community.
